Tiger skin is also known as tiger red, named after its granite. It is mainly used for flooring, countertops and coverings. Its texture is similar to that of a tiger's skin, hence the name. This granite has a brown/orange/red background with black waves in the pattern. It is a very hard granite available in India which quarries are located in Jalore district of Rajasthan region.
